24th November 2012- THE SUPREME CAT SHOW

Sadly Kaypez Sugar Hiccup- Lumin was unable to attend this years show but that did not stop team Kaypez coming out to play. I had a wonderful day stewarding for Lynne Studer and it was great fun but hard work. It was great to catch up with everyone I could and sorry to those I missed. Out representing us were Yoda (Kaypez Prince Soloman) and Leo (Kaypez Heaven or Las Vegas). I have to say a huge thank you to Nikki and Fiona their owners for bringing the boys out to play and for looking after them so well and presenting both of them in perfect condition. Those boys are so loved and they are a credit to you both how happy and relaxed they were.

1ST CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN- SMITHS KAYPEZ PRINCE SOLOMAN

Yoda was so happy and relaxed winning his first place and loving the attension he got, he was invited to be photographed by the press team too. He did great for his first outing and im sure that he will be gracing the show bench again to meet all his fans once more. Thank you so much Nikki for loving him to bits. x

2ND SEAL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN- YATES KAYPEZ HEAVEN OR LAS VEGAS

Such a shame we arrived late- we got to the NEC at 9am only for it to take 45 minites to park the car and get through vetting in. Sadly Leo's class had already been judged so he could only be awarded 2nd place. We would like to thank his judge for taking the time to award him and write his critique out so at least he didnt go home empty handed. Leo showed himself like the true star he is and attracted lots of people to his pen to chat with him. He was such a happy boy and loved his day out it was a pleasure to see him there. Thank you so much to Fiona for loving him and coming out despite being ill. x

Mrs D Harper

GRAND CLASS – AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION. ADULT FEMALE.

RES. GR CC Miss K Burrows’, CH KAYPEZ STARRY EYED, (24n), F. 08.11.2010. A strong, well grown girl of very good overall type who was unlucky to meet the winner. She has a large, strong wedge head, lovely top and huge ears, which at times she holds a little forward, almost straight profile, very firm chin and untidy bite, mid to dark blue eyes of oriental shape and set, large strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail. Good pinky, lilac based, caramel points and virtually no shading on her off white body, so clear contrast, short fine coat. A real character, well presented in excellent condition.

Mr J Hansson

AC Siamese/Balinese Breeders Adult;
1st BURROWS'S CH KAYPEZ STARRY EYED. 24n
. 08-11-10. Caramel Point, very well grown mature lass who is nevertheless stylish. Strong head type, the wedge even & well balanced, little flat on the skull, very good profile, very strong chin, bite untidy, some missing teeth. Ears large & possess flare to the base, wide low set. Eyes are a lovely shape & slant, with intense deep vivid blue colour, very expressive. Long neck, impressive length very firm body, long slim legs, neat paws, log fine tail with the very slightest of not quite perfect tip. Coat was very close lying, sleek shorter length, satiny finish. Her body colour warm off white/magnolia tone, with slight touch of shading, her points I would have said a little dark for Lilac but not quite sludgy enough for Caramel, a little betwixt & between, however were well matched. She was in super condition & her temperament was so beautifully composed.

kaypez siamese cats16th June 2012- The Siamese Cat Association

What a fabulous day out we had at the SCA show. It was great to catch up with old friends and I enjoyed stewarding for Ross Davies in the HHP section. Today we bought with us Flower (Champion Kaypez Starry Eyed) and her daughter Lumin (Kaypez Sugar Hiccup). This was Flowers first outing on the bench after having kittens and Lumins very first show. Both girls were impecably behaved and enjoyed their day out as much as I did. Thank you to all their judges for their awards.

Flower was awarded the Reserve Grand Challenge Certificate beaten to the grand by the best in show female adult. She was also awarded Best Opposite Sex cat for the best female caramel point.

GR CH, BURROWS’S CH KAYPEZ STARRY EYED. 8.11.10. An elegant and stylish miss. Mid length wedge head with large wide based and wide set ears which she tends to bonnet at times. Almost straight profile, strong chin, bite just scissored over. Eyes of mid bright blue – for perfection need a little more depth and intensity. A touch straight across the top. Long beautifully toned body. Long legs and tail. Lilac based caramel points with correct brownish hue. Coat short and sleek, beautifully prepared with minimal shading. A sweet tempered lady trilling away for a ‘fella’.

Very well developed lady of very good overall type who decided that she didnít like the Show all that much. Beautiful large even triangular wedge, sizeable ears placed and flared in line, inclined oriental eyes of good blue, straight profile and level bite. Body large and strong for a female, limbs and tail balance. Good condition to her coat, fine and close, attractive blue points matching well, excellent cool pale body for pleasing contrast.

Lilac Point - Mrs D Brown

Caramel Point Siamese Adult
CC - Burrows' KAYPEZ STARRY EYED (24n) F 08/11/10.
A young female of stylish type, only just adult and looking it. Medium length wedge with wide top line, and very large wide at base ears, setting okay but with a tendency to bonnet at times. Oriental eye shape and set with inscrutable expression and mid blue colour. Strong profile with broad nose, good chin and bite. Firm and weighty little body of good length, long slender limbs and long tail to balance. Points more dark lilac at present, but it is early days for points colour development, and there is a hint of brown at the base of the ears and on the tail, coat also the correct colour a virtually unshaded, cool toned off-white. Not entirely happy but handled well. Excellently presented.

Chocolate Point - Mr C Dryden

1 CC Burrows Kaypez Starry Eyed 24N F 03.11.10
Feminine youngster of good type a bit at sizes and sevens but of good substance for her age with medium wedge with large very wide at base eas that she can bonnet at times. Slightly straight set eyes that are a good colour. Tiny dip to profile with very firm chin that almost eludes to something other than a level bite which she has. Long elegant body with daint limbsa and whip tail to balance. Lilac based caramel points well developed for her age needing to gain more brownish tones but all well matched. Super coat for texture. Lovely temperament and condition.
